Our guild likes to have fun and share in group events. Listed below is the information on our current events, workshops, shop hops and retreats. Plan to join the fun!
Have It Your Way Retreat – Charlene Britt has made arrangements for some fun retreat options that will allow you to customize your retreat experience! The retreat site is Hidden Lane Retreat Center in Miami, OK. This lovely destination is owned and operated by our own Nancy Kessler, who will spoil you rotten with a comfortable retreat setting and wonderful meals!
Dates are Wednesday, June 19th and Thursday, June 20th. You have the option of choosing the following lengths of stay:
- 1 day, 1 meal – $35
- 1 extended day, 2 meals – $50
- 1 overnight, 4 meals – $115
- 2 overnights, 7 meals – $195
Take advantage of the opportunity for sewing to your heart’s content, while someone else cooks and cleans for you! There will be a sign-up sheet at the May Guild meeting, or call Charlene Britt at 918-787-7901 or 918-260-1822.
2019 Bow Tie Block Exchange – Nancy Kessler will coordinate a Bow Tie Block exchange for any interested members. We will be making bow tie blocks with the a covered corner – not the square in the middle. Each participant will make 30 blocks each month from January to December, using white or white-on-white background fabric. Your blocks will be exchanged for 30 blocks made by guild members. At the end of the year you will have 360 blocks to turn into a quilt of your choice! Nancy will have a sign-up sheet at the exchange table during guild meetings.
